Our mission
Tank and Terra exists to make habitat keeping less confusing. We publish research-based reviews and care guides for the two worlds hobbyists love most — water and land — so you can make confident decisions before you spend a dollar or add a single animal.
Our story
Every keeper knows the routine: a dozen forum tabs open, conflicting advice in every thread, and a purchase decision that can’t afford a wrong guess — because in this hobby, the wrong equipment doesn’t just waste money, it puts living animals at risk.
Tank and Terra started as an answer to that scatter. Instead of opinions buried in threads, we build structured guides that compare real specifications and real owner outcomes — for aquariums, reef systems, ponds, and reptile enclosures alike. The name says it plainly: tanks for the water side, terra for the land side, one research standard for both.

Every recommendation on this site is research-based. We compare manufacturer specifications, technical documentation, and verified owner reviews before naming a pick. We do not claim hands-on laboratory testing or personal use of every product — and we would rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise.
